WHAT'S NEW?

One
of my goals this year was to do more volunteer work. I have decided to do more
with the church I attend. I am currently working with the Creative Artist
Ministry and help usher during music events. It has been a blast seeing
everyone who is interested in uplifting music. Please see some of the bands I
have been seeing. They all have a great vision and I am happy to have heard
their inspiration.

A
couple of years have passed and many things have happened in my life. First and
foremost I thank God for helping me get this far and I thank you for stopping
by this website. Have you set your goals
for the year? May I suggest the following for motivation:
1.
Act like a star at work. Whether you're a clerk or a CEO, do the things a
world-class employee would do, from the way you walk to the way you talk to the
way you tackle hard tasks and difficult people. Act like a star and you boost
your chances of becoming one.
2.
Talk more crisply, listen more intently. Most of us think we're good
communicators. Alas, few of us are. Keep your utterances under a minute; if
possible, under 15 seconds. After 15 seconds, most people start thinking,
"I wish he'd finish." And when you're listening, really listen to
what your counterpart is saying and how he or she is saying it. Ask follow-up
questions. People love to be asked questions.
3.
Follow The World's Shortest Management Course: Create
a vision, inspire your supervisees to achieve that vision, don't micromanage,
fire the bad quickly and take the time to hire great employees.
4.
Get your job description changed to suit your strengths. Don't know what your
strengths are? Make a list of things you've been praised for. Your core
strengths lie within.
5.
Request a special project that you'd find fun, would impress your boss and the
results of which would be visible to many employees. For example, if you're a
new and inexperienced salesperson, ask your sales manager if you could
interview the other salespeople to create a booklet of sales tips and tricks.
If your boss agrees, you get to learn a lot from the old hands and produce a
product valuable to all. Instead of being seen as the green newbie, you'd be
immediately seen as the up-and-comer.
6.
Forgo State U for You U. When your career is stalled, it's tempting to consider
a back-to-school stint. But there's an oversupply of degree holders. Thousands
of people have spent years and fortunes on finishing their bachelor's degree or
MBA or even PhD to find that career doors did not swing open. You can often
learn more of value, more quickly and less expensively, by forgoing State U,
let alone Private U, in favor of what I call You U: self-and mentor-selected
articles, books, workshops, conferences and mentorships.
One
of mine is to help make an impact in this world. To promote
positively and meet new friends. A couple of years ago I created a new
CD to share with the world. To those whom have purchased it, thank you. To
everyone else, please visit the link below and let me know your thoughts. I am
starting a new journey with God and hope to share new music and ideas with you.
I’d like for you to do the same. Hope you are having a great 2005.

What have I been up to? Well, I’ve
sent some of my own music to an affiliate by the name of TAXI. I’ll be giving up- to-date information as that progresses. TAXI
is an A&R type organization that assists musicians get
their music in the hands of record labels.
They send you classified ads and then you submit your music and see if
they can use it. I liked the idea so I’m
going to give it a try. There of course
is Martian Records to whom we are also affiliated with. I encourage you all to submit your CD’s/press
kits and see what they can do for you.
You may be asking why am I helping
when I myself have not been signed? Well for the last two years I’ve been
gathering information and attempting to realize a dream. If I can help you with the knowledge I’ve
obtained…well don’t forget us little peopleJ

I have
finally included some audio files of some tracks from Frederick Dean. They are
snippets of songs converted to Real Audio files. If you are interested in
getting a mastered CD copy well you'll have to kindly donate $10 dollars. I
will however be putting some MP3/Liquid Audio files so you can get hear the
songs in better quality. I am using the snippets to get some reactions from the
songs. (HIDDEN LOCATION : GO TO THE G.V.E PORTION AND EXPLORE)
Frederick
Dean has a whole library of songs, which with proper permissions (from the
artist) can be available for jingles, commercials, movies, etc.
Just a
reminder to check out the BUY BOOKS portion of the website. The books I have
listed are very good for those individuals interested in getting into the music
industry. After you purchased them, feel free to e-mail us and tell us what you

Lookie here. Here we are!
Hopefully everyone has had a great time celebrating New Year's. Now is the fun
part, starting this century right!!!
The best
advice I have to give is to remember to have fun. Life is too short not to
experience what you believe in. If your heart tells you to play music…DO IT!!!
But always follow your mind also. The combination will provide a good balance.
OK..OK…OK… Enough of that. Back to business. I want to thank everyone who has
visited us here at F.D. Vision Entertainment. I have used this site as one to
help point you in the right direction of our music scene. You'll see some new
bands, links, and even a couple examples of my very own music. So it should be
an interesting year. Please check out the new addition of VENUE LISTING. If you
have a venue you'd like listed, please e-mail me.
Again,
thanks for taking the time to visit this site. Please sign the guestbook.
