"E Pluribus Unum" petition Sometime this year (2008) the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals will disclose new rulings on whether 'under God' in the Pledge and 'In God We Trust' as the national motto violate the First Amendment. We anticipate a favorable decision. I will email this "E Pluribus Unum" petition to all Congresspeople shortly after the decision is announced. I will also print the petition and mail it to all Congresspeople if there are more than 500 signatures at that time.
